8 thousand crores reduced relative to last year

Farmers get 6 thousand rupees annually

Under the scheme, the central government annually sends 6 thousand rupees to the farmers’ account. Every four months, 2 thousand rupees are sent to the farmers’ account. This year there were discussions that the installment of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi can be increased from 3 to 4. In this way, instead of 6 thousand, farmers will start getting 8 thousand rupees. However, now after the release of the budget, the hopes of the farmers have been dashed.
